The quality and variety of our performances make them suitable for many types of venue, whether church, concert hall or drawing room. We also take great pleasure in providing tailored performances for Weddings and other special events.

We are happy to sing for large charity fundraising events, as well as in smaller venues such as residential homes and private celebrations, when only a few voices are needed.

Vale Royal Singers was formed by Brian Greensill in 1978 with singers from Cheshire and beyond, and became firmly established as one of the leading chamber choirs in the North of England. In 2001 Roger Wilkes took over, bringing his own wealth of experience in Early Music and introducing new 20th century music.

The current Musical Director, Margaret Corlett took over in 2005 and has further extended the choir’s repertoire, including longer works by Rutter, Chilcott, and Carter, settings of 18th and 19th century music and a wide range of light modern popular music.

Our accompanist is Brian Heald.
